My time at Tessian was dedicated to building out our ML driven SaaS Suite, focusing on expanding platform capabilities in threat prevention and data loss prevention for customers primarily in financial, insurance and health sectors.

As a Group Product Manager I was expected to manage and mentor members of the product team, prioritizing fostering a culture of data-driven excellence and continuous innovation.

My active involvement in the sales process, particularly in high-value enterprise deals, was crucial in aligning short-term commercial goals with Tessian's long-term product vision.

Given Tessian protects some of the largest financial players, my duty was to lead our path on enterprise-grade readiness, and optimizing Tessian's product lifecycle processes. Here, I led key cross-functional initiatives to strengthen data security, achieve compliance regulations, and advanced encryption and intrusion detection systems.

Tessian Acquisition by Proofpoint

It was incredibly rewarding to see our hard work pay off when Tessian was acquired by Proofpoint, a recognized leader in the industry. This milestone was a testament to our team's dedication and the innovative strides we made. Being part of this journey, from growing our capabilities to aligning with Proofpoint's excellence, was a truly fulfilling experience. It underscored the impact of our efforts and the value of our advancements in cybersecurity.

Principal Product Manager at Tray.io

At Tray.io, I played a key role in advancing our integration and automation platform, ensuring seamless interoperability for B2B SaaS clients and tailoring it to enterprise needs.

I had the responsibility of managing relationships with some of our largest clients, addressing their complex technical requirements, whilst treading the line of individual feature needs and product strategy.

Prioritizing data security, I established protocols to ensure platform reliability and compliance with global data protection standards.

In collaboration with engineering, design, and marketing teams, I helped to steer the product roadmap, aligning it with our business goals and industry standards, while catering to the sophisticated needs of our major clients.

As a Principal PM, I acted both as an individual contributor across 3 different teams, as well as an overarching strategic leader in collaboration with Tray's executive team.

During my time at Tray, I am happy to say I mentored multiple members of the organization upon their interest in product management and am happy to see them developing within this profession today.

Technical Product Manager at Intent HQ

This platform was a valuable deep dive into the world of hyper-personalization in the Martech domain, where AI has been applies for quite some time. At Intent HQ, I managed our SaaS-based Customer Intelligence Platform, harnessing AI and ML to turn fragmented data into actionable insights, while incorporating top-tier data security practices.

I oversaw platform scalability efforts, specifically focussed on enterprise-readiness, optimizing deployments of large data pipelines, and enriching feature sets for enhanced robustness. Given we were facing great opportunity, the development of a scale focussed product roadmap was of crucial importance. We had to drive the securing of stakeholder support, satisfaction of impactful prospects and speed of implementation at fast pace to meet our targets.

Successful Sales Driven Product Management

My time at Intent has been a unique experience, as the company was navigating a long Proof-of-Value Phase with our prospect Verizon, requiring us the rethink and rebuild not just our platform architecture, but also our algorithms, giving me the unique experience of working closely on both complex AWS scalability projects, as well as being a part of major data science experimentation.

This experience raised not only my technical expertise, but required a deep understanding of data privacy laws in software development, something I have been passionate about ever since.

Crownpeak: GDPR & Accessibility Compliance Platform

Working at Crownpeak as the sole Product Manager for the Digital Quality Management (DQM) product was an immensely rewarding experience. It was a unique opportunity to lead a product that played a crucial role in helping companies align with important standards like GDPR, SEO, and Accessibility.

The challenge of a product in later stages of the product lifecycle meant managing the intricate balance between new feature development and technical debt, whilst ensuring revenue targets being met.

I was fortunate to be encouraged to travel, meet and engage directly with customers in both silicon valley and across the UK, forming important relationships with clients across Finance, Pharma and Consumer Industries. Crownpeak not only expects Product Managers to be focussed on product development, but be a significant contributor to account health, renewals and sales.

Product Manager at One.com

My career in Product Management began in the web hosting industry. One.com provides a platform for individuals and small businesses to register domains, build websites and sell merchandise or services.

Here is where I was able to learn product management fundamentals, work together with 15 talented engineers, and rebuild one.com's Website Builder and Webshop applications after these domains received funding within the business. In this position I was lucky to experience important steps of product development of an entirely new system, from within an established business.

From initial customer research, to design systems, to finally implementations of both backend and frontend, launching these products was a rewarding experience and years later I am still proud of the currently live product, accessible to over 1 Million customers.
